Prishna Jimenez-Cassan is a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Texas who is passionate about helping adults heal, grow, and reconnect with themselves. She completed her undergraduate studies at The University of Texas at Arlington and earned her master’s degree in counseling from Lamar University.

Before entering private practice, Prishna spent 12 meaningful years with Dallas ISD as both an educator and a school counselor. Those years shaped her understanding of people, resilience, and the many challenges we carry—often quietly. Today, she brings that experience into her work with adults facing trauma, anxiety, and depression.

Prishna has guided clients in healthcare settings and residential treatment centers, giving her broad experience with a wide variety of mental health needs. She is certified in DBT and TF-CBT and is known for her gentle but honest approach. Prishna has a gift for helping clients explore hard truths while still feeling safe, supported, and never judged. Many clients stay with her long-term because they trust her deeply—her respect for confidentiality, her steady patience, and her genuine care shine through in every session.

Outside the therapy room, Prishna enjoys a full and lively life with her husband of 14 years, a proud veteran, and their four children and two fur babies. When she’s not with family, you can often find her reading, skating, hiking, or catching up on some well-deserved sleep.
